Overview
Reverse osmosis (RO) is a membrane separation desalination technology that is widely used in the preparation of pure water and ultrapure water. It was developed in the 1960s. The pore size of the RO membrane is very small, mostly ≤10*1010 (10A), and the separation objects are ions in the solution and organic matter with a molecular weight of several hundred. It can remove micro-ions and organic matter with very small molecular weight from the filtrate, such as bacteria, viruses, and pyrogens.
The HTRO series reverse osmosis unit mainly uses imported composite membrane components, and is equipped with multi-stage centrifugal pumps, stainless steel high-pressure pipelines, frames, valves, instruments, and electrical control systems. It can be designed according to the different needs of users and can provide various configurations of reverse osmosis host equipment with a single processing capacity of 0.125-100m3/h; and then, it is equipped with pre-treatment and disinfection post-treatment equipment to form a purified water treatment system.
In addition to being used in brackish water and seawater desalination, reverse osmosis (RO) is widely used in the treatment of various industrial process purified water, such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals, machinery, petroleum, papermaking, dyeing, electroplating, electronic products, and boiler feed water in the power industry; it is also used in the food and beverage industry, such as drinking water, beverages, space water, pure water, distilled water, mineralized water, and liquor manufacturing; as well as various industrial wastewater treatment, heavy oil dilution water, urban domestic wastewater treatment, and reclaimed water reuse, etc., for various process water and occasions that require purification.
Advantages of XMRO Reverse Osmosis Water Treatment Technology
Reverse osmosis water treatment technology basically belongs to a physical method. It uses physical and chemical processes and has advantages that traditional chemical water treatment methods do not have in many aspects:
(1) Reverse osmosis (RO) uses a phase-change-free physical method to desalinate and purify water at room temperature;
(2) Water treatment relies only on water pressure as the driving force, and its energy consumption is the lowest among many treatment methods;
(3) The removal of SiO2 is the best, and the removal rate can reach 99.5%. It effectively avoids the selective entrainment of SiO2 caused by the increase in pressure of the generator set, and avoids the impact of silicon in natural water on ion exchange resin, such as regeneration difficulties and short operating cycles. The removal rate of organic matter and colloidal substances in water can reach 95%.
(4) It does not require a large amount of chemical reagents and acid-base regeneration treatment, no chemical waste liquid and waste acid and alkali discharge, no neutralization process, and no environmental pollution;
(5) The system is simple, easy to operate, and the product water quality is stable. Using two-stage reverse osmosis can obtain high-quality pure water, and it has a wide range of applications;
(6) The equipment structure is compact, the floor area is small, and the construction investment is saved;
(7) The equipment produces water continuously and automatically, with stable and reliable operation, and very little maintenance work.
